There are two major problems with Marketing Funnels today…
FIRST, Business Owners DON’T create one!
Unfortunately, many business owners just expect the “leads” to show up at their doors or call in… because they believe their products and services are so good that they’ll sell themselves… I’m sorry, but this can’t be further from the truth.
SECOND, they “copy & paste” funnel blueprints
Whenever business decide to invest in creating a Marketing Funnel for their business, they usually decide to ” copy & paste” it from “successful” people they know or heard of, without EVER considering the STAGE their business is on when compared to the business they’re copying it from… That’s a big mistake!
Sure, highly successful entrepreneurs like Brendon Burchard, Frank Kern, Ryan Diess (to name a few) can teach us a lot, and I love them! But based on your industry, niche, and level of sophistication of your marketplace, you MUST ADAPT their teachings to your business, otherwise, it’s not going to work the way you expect (which is highly influenced by the “numbers” they showed).
So after they fail miserably with their “sales funnel,” they want to blame the “Guru” who they’ve gotten the funnel from or they blame the traffic Channel they used for the Ad Campaign (i.e. Facebook, Google Display Network)…
